Man attempts suicide near HM residence

New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) A man was found with his wrists slit near the Union Home Minister’s official residence on Akbar Road here, on Friday morning.

According to police, the 43-year-old was spotted by patrolling policemen in a semi-conscious state and rushed to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in a PCR van.
He is under treatment now and reportedly out of danger, police said.

The man has been identified as Raj Kumar, resident of Mukherji Nagar and suspected to be mentally unstable. An incoherently written complaint was also found with him, alleging that he was under satellite surveillance through GPS.
