Hyderabad, May 4 (UNI) Sunrisers Hyderabad’s captain Kane Williamson on Friday expressed hope that fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar will play against Delhi Daredevils.
New Zealand’s Williamson said, “We got a lot of time after the last match and Bhuvneshwar stayed away from many matches too. I do not think, he is seriously injured and he has got enough comfort now. We hope that he will play against Delhi in the next match (on Saturday). ”
Bhuvneshwar, the fast bowler of the Indian team, has played four out of eight matches so far, and has taken six wickets at an average of 17.16, in which his best performance is 3 wickets for 26 runs.
Bhuvneshwar did not play the last few matches due to back injury. Hyderabad will face Delhi on Saturday at the domestic ground. The Hyderabad team has now moved to the top with Chennai SuperKing in the points table and its bowlers have proved their strength so far, who, despite small scores, win matches for them.
Hyderabad’s chief coach Tom Moody said that his team will show improvement in all departments of the game, not only against Delhi but also in the remaining tournaments so their goals continue.
“Our job is to play our best cricket till the end of the tournament.” We feel that we still need to improve in all three departments”, he added.
