Siddaramaiah describes Modi’s campaign as a comedy show

Bengaluru, May 10 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah described the 21 meeting campaign trail of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that ended on Wednesday as a ”comedy show”

Addressing newsmen along with party President Rahul Gandhi on the last day of campaign here on Thursday, Mr Siddaramaiah accused Mr Modi and other BJP leaders of hurling baseless allegations and spreading lies and said that they were feeding the people with only lies instead of listing out the failures of the government., They had sidelined the issues that ought to have been brought before the people and indulged in personal attacks.
He said he had never indulged in attacking them apart from criticising their utterances during campaign. He said voters in Karnataka are politically agile and would not fall prey to the falsehoods spread by the BJP. He said there was no anti-incubancy factor in the entire state and people are aware that the programmesof the government had reached them. The Government had enjoyed the confidence of the people, he asserted.
