New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Culture, and Tourism Alphons Kannanthanam on Thursday launched the book ‘Narendra Modi- A Charismatic & Visionary Statesman’, jointly written by Dr Adish C.Aggarwala and eminent British author Ms. Sarah J. Marchington here.
This book deconstructs the events of Narendra Modi’s life and sutures them together to present an objective picture of the Indian Prime Minister, who successfully left the spectre of the Gujarat riots of 2002 behind to rise like a phoenix in spite of much adversity and court battles.
While talking after the launch of the 672-paged coffee table book weighing 5 kilograms , Mr Alphons said, The Modi Government is fast forwarding successfully with its development agenda. “In 2024, we may gather here once again to launch another book contains more kilos than this on achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, he quipped.
The book also contains rare photographs of Modi depicting his life since childhood. The book contains pictures of Prime Minister attending various important events and his meetings with eminent personalities from across the world.
These people include Kings, Presidents and Prime Ministers of various countries, and several other influential persons such as religious heads. It also includes various Governors, Chief Ministers, Chief Justices and Chief Secretaries of all the Indian states.
Apart from pictures, a short biographical sketch of each of these personalities has also been included in the book as part of its encyclopaedic subject index.
On the occasion, Counsellor of Zimbabwe Mr Lovemore Ncube hailed the Indian Prime Minister’s diplomacy and the dealings with African nations.
RSS National Executive Committee member Indresh Kumar taken a trip down memory lane when he and Mr Modi met in a camp of RSS in 1975, where Modi represented Gujarat region. “Once I will make the nation great again”, he remembered Modi’s word in the camp.
