JC Bose Univ VC congratulates CM for peaceful conduct students elections

Chandigarh, Oct 18 (UNI) The Vice-Chancellor of JC Bose (erstwhile YMCA) University of Science and Technology, YMCA Faridabad, Prof.

Dinesh Kumar has congratulated Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma for conduct of peaceful, free and fair elections of Students’ Council in all the Colleges and Universities in the state after a long gap of 22 years and fulfilling the long pending demand of the students. 

Prof. Kumar said that the students’ election provides an opportunity for students to engage in a structured partnership with University administration for the development and academic growth of the University. It is an opportunity for students to discuss, debate, argue and dialogue over ideas which develop their leadership skills.

He appreciated the support and cooperation extended by the Faridabad District and Police Administration and thanks them for maintaining law and order situation throughout the Students’ Election.

He also congratulated the office of Dean Student Welfare and his team for conducting peaceful, transparent, free and fair Students’ Election in the University which has been conducted in the University for the first time since its inception.

He also appreciated the efforts made by the faculty and staff of the University, engaged in the election process, for successfully and peacefully conducting the Students Election.

Prof. Kumar also congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and members of the University Executive Students’ Council on their victory and urged them to work collectively for the welfare of students’ community and to ensure their contribution for the development and academic growth of the University
