New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) Samsung India on Thursday launched Galaxy Tab S4, a new 2-in-1 Android tablet that comes equipped with Samsung Dex and S Pen, making it a perfect device for those who want to do more — anytime, anywhere.
The company is giving the new tab at Rs 57,900 and will be available for sale from October 18 this year. It will also be available on Amazon, online exclusive partner from October 20 onwards. It comes in black and grey colours only.
With the new S Pen and Samsung Dex, Galaxy Tab has come combined with a polished modern design, an immersive display, four speakers and enhanced entertainment features – Aditya Babbar, General Manager, Mobile Business, Samsung India, said here.
He said, in standalone mode, people can enjoy a PC-like interface even without a monitor or the book cover keyboard. In dual mode, multitasking is much smoother, and can be used to optimize work environment by connecting Galaxy Tab S4 to a bigger monitor with an HDMI adapter.
In the new tab, multiple desktop-style windows can be opened for Android apps, including the Microsoft Office suite, directly on Galaxy Tab S4, and re-size them when needed. Drag and drop content between apps and use keyboard shortcuts and commands for efficiency.
The new tab comes with a 7,300mAh battery that provides up to 16 hours of video playback. Additionally, with Samsung Knox, Samsung’s defense-grade mobile security platform, customers and companies can ensure critical information is protected at multiple levels of the device.
Its redesigned S Pen offers an authentic handwriting experience — it is perfect for drawing, taking notes, and communicating in the modern world. It offers users a great way to express their creativity and communicate. They can take notes on the fly through the Screen-Off Memo feature, as well as navigate, translate and organise notes.
Galaxy Tab sports narrower bezels to fit a large 10.5-inch display with Super Amoled technology, as well as a 16:10 screen ratio with 2560×1600, 287 pixels per inch resolution for vivid picture detail and true-to-life visuals. When it comes to audio, it also comes with four speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos immersive sound technology.
