Siliguri, Nov 16 (UNI) The West Bengal Government has decided to set up a breeding centre for tigers in Siliguri.
The centre would be located on a 4.5-acre site adjacent to the Bengal Safari Park near Siliguri.
The park has gradually turned into a top tourist spot, what with its safaris for tigers and other animals.
The breeding centre would cost Rs 2 to 2.5 crore and would be constructed within six months.
