Port Moresby, Nov 17 (Sputnik) Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Saturday warned against potential threats of digital revolution, saying that solutions to address them should be sought for.
Speaking at the APEC Summit in Papua New Guinea, Medvedev said that the digital revolution was “an absolute good in terms of social development.”
“It opens new horizons. At the same time, it brings potential threats, just like any other revolution does. They are the exacerbation of inequality between people and countries; surge in unemployment rates; encroachment into a person’s personal life. We have not found any universal remedies to tackle these issues. But we should search for them,” Medvedev added.
