Congress known for making false promises: Amit Shah

Umariya, Nov 18 (UNI) Stepping up its attack on Congress, BJP president Amit Shah on Sunday alleged that the grand old party is known for making false promises.

Addressing an election rally at Amar Shahid Stadium in Umariya district headquarters of Madhya Pradesh, Mr Shah said Congress is known for making false promises to people, whereas BJP believes in development, adding that the ruling party is the only party, which can develop Madhya Pradesh.

Taking a dig on Congress, Mr Shah alleged that everyone knows who will be the President of Congress, but in BJP, no one can predict.
He also took a jibe on the main Opposition party, saying that during their regime, there were were no roads or electricity, while the state had become Bimaru. Congress does not have a right to ask questions on development, he added.

The number of development works carried by the BJP government in the last two tenures are enough to tell the Congress what the BJP government has done in the state, he remarked.
It is because of Shivraj Singh Chouhan that Madhya Pradesh has become a developed state. State BJP chief Rakesh Singh was also present on the occasion.
