Indore, MP, Nov 19 (UNI) Railways and Coal Minister Piyush Goyal today claimed that there is no “tension” between the Centre and the Reserve Bank of India.
“Today’s meeting was a routine one of the RBI Board,” he said at a press conference here.
Responding to a query vis-a-vis the Opposition’s allegations, the visiting politician said that the present dispensation is not interfering in constitutional bodies, which were “insulted” during Congress rule.
In the context of whether a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) should inquire into the Rafale deal, he accused the Congress of spreading confusion on the issue.
“There can be no compromise on national security. No JPC probe is feasible without facts. A parliamentary debate is possible,” Mr Goyal averred.
Alleging that Madhya Pradesh’s public witnessed only destruction during 55 years of Congress rule, he added that it was a ‘bimaru’ state where basic facilities eluded the masses.
