Ramesh asks Kerala CM to give up home portfolio

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 19 (UNI) Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala on Monday urged Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to give up the home portfolio taking responsibility of the ongoing police raj in Sabarimala.

Talking to newspersons here, the Opposition leader alleged that all the police atrocities against Ayyappa devotees happened at the hillock temple was with full knowledge of the Chief Minister.

Urging the Government to withdraw the prohibition order imposed at Sabarimala, Mr Ramesh said a high level delegation led by senior Congress leader Oommen Chandy will go to Sabarimala on Tuesday to violate the section 144 of CrPc.

Alleging that Mr Vijayan was imposing Stalinist rule in Kerala, the Opposition leader said Lord Ayyappa temple is experiencing a ‘Blue Star’ kind of operation in Golden temple of Punjab.
