Betul, MP, Nov 22 (UNI) Employing his characteristic humour, Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu today compared Madhya Pradesh’s saffron party regime to a 15-year-old vehicle and quipped that the government is emitting black fumes therefore its days are numbered.
“The smoke is blackening people’s countenances. Such vehicles have been banned in Delhi and Punjab. When I was young, I used to score numerous sixes and now this state’s youth will hit the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government right out of the state.
The Chief Minister compares Madhya Pradesh’s roads with those in the United States but the reality is that the state’s roads are pathetic,” he said at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in this district headquarters while addressing an election meeting in favour of Congress candidate Neelam Daga.
Pouring vitriol on the Narendra Modi dispensation, Mr Sidhu wondered that if even Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s statue was imported then would this country’s youngsters be made to only cook pakodas? The Modi government is working as a “puppet” of capitalists.
