Hyderabad, Nov 22 (UNI) A renowned photographer, Prabhakar Kusuma, passed away here on Thursday due to cardiac arrest.
The 66-year-old Prabhakar, who was on his way to Warangal , suffered a cardiac arrest in Secunderabad railway station.
He was rushed to Gandhi Hospital in the city, where he breathed his last.
Prabhakar, hailing from Warangal in Telangana, was recently awarded the “Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain” (FRPS), a rare honour in photography given by the UK based organisation.
Known for his ability to capture the human emotions and his dexterity to capture the effects of light and shadow, Prabhakar earned himself a niche position as a photographer from India.
The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain has recently published an article in their Fellowship Special Journal in August 2018 edition featuring him and his works, another rare honour in the field of photography.
Expressing condolences over the death of Prabhakar, Telangana Photography Akademi secretary K Vishwendar Reddy described his demise as a great loss to the fraternity of photographers in the country.
