Lucknow, Nov 22 (UNI) Claiming himself as the “Kingmaker”, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday said that no party can form the government at the Centre in 2019 without the support from SP.
Addressing SP party workers here on the occasion of his 80th birthday, Mr Yadav claimed that he can turn the tide in SP favour in 2019 General Assembly Elections.
“Organise my meetings at the divisional level and I will turn the tide in our favour, so that no one could form the government at the Centre without SP support,” he told the party leaders at the SP headquarters in Lucknow.
He asked the party workers to start working for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. The SP chief also claimed that the party will return to power in next Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Mr Yadav told party that power lies in capturing Lok Sabha and added, “without it no dream can be fulfilled.”
He said that the party should focus on women.”If women are with you, then no one can stop from forming a government and making the party stronger,” he told the party leaders.
However, without taking any names, Mr Yadav said there are some people in the party who are working against the party.
