New Delhi, Nov 22 (UNI) Private airline SpiceJet on Thursday claimed that the airline has once again recorded the highest passenger load factor of 90.8 per cent in October for the 43rd month in a row.
Airline Chief Sales and Revenue Officer Shilpa Bhatia said, “SpiceJet has yet again recorded the highest passenger load factor of 90.8 per cent. This is the 43rd month-in-a-row that we have flown with the highest loads in India.”
“This has set a new benchmark in global aviation and we are proud of that. We at SpiceJet make every effort to offer our customers a top-notch experience every time they fly with us,” Ms Bhatia said.
In September this year, the low-cost airline has witnessed 93.2 per cent passenger load factor.
The passenger load factor is the key indicator of the company’s performance as it measures the average percentage of seats filled on airline’s aircraft fleet. SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
