The discussion had to be taken on Rafale Deal, farmers’ distress, price rise and Cauvery issue among others, he said, adding that ‘I have received notice from Members on these issues and they have been accepted also and the Government is ready to hold discussion on them.’
He suggested that Leader of the House Arun Jaitley should hold discussion with Opposition leaders to find solution to the logjam. Later, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Vijay Goel said the government is ready for discussion on Rafale Deal but Opposition did not want to discuss it.
Congress Deputy Leader Anand Sharma said his party wants a probe by Joint Parliamentary Committee on Rafale deal but right now discussion should be held on immediate imposition of President’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir.
