Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (popularly known as KCR) will meet his Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneshwar on Sunday as part of his efforts to forge a non-Congress and non-BJP front of like-minded regional parties.
Mr KCR accompanied by his family members left on Sunday morning for Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh enroute to Bhubaneshwar. He will first visit Sri Sharada Peetam in the port town of Visakhapatnam and participate in special poojas to be performed by the Peetma Pontif Swamy Swaroopananada and after lunch at the temple he will fly to Bhubaneshwar. The Chief Minister will meet Mr Patnaik this evening and after overnight stay there, he will visit Konark and Jaganath temple at Puri on Monday.
He will leave for Kolkata from Bhubaneshwar and meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and later offer pooja at Kali Mandir on Monday evening. KCR will broach the formation of the federal front during discussions with both Mr.Patnaik and Ms.Banerjee to bring about a qualitative change in the Nnational politics.
From Kolkota, he will fly to the National Capital where Mr KCR will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union Ministers on December 26 to discuss with them the issues pertaining to the state. He will also meet the Election Commission officials during his three-four days stay in Delhi. He will also meet Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President Mayawati and Samajwadi Party President and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to discuss the federal front plans during his Delhi stay.
