Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha, a new ally of grand alliance today claimed that NDA would not be able to open even its account in 2019 Lok Sabha election and so LJP supremo Ram Vilas Paswan ‘reserved’ his seat in Rajya Sabha.
Mr Kushwaha, also former union minister told newspersons here on the occasion of induction of Mukesh Sahni aka ‘Son of Mallah’ led Vikasshil Insan Party (VIP) into the Grand alliance that the exit of the Narendra Modi government in the centre was a foregone conclusion.
Going sarcastic, RLSP chief, who was a union minister in the Narendra Modi government before deserting NDA said that LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, known for his ‘expertise in reading political pulse reserved’ his seat in Rajya Sabha. He said that LJP might be celebrating with getting six seats in Bihar for Lok Sabha election in ticket distribution among NDA allies but its happiness would be short lived.
Mr Kushwaha said that LJP chief Mr Paswan was fully aware of the fact that NDA was going to suffer a humiliating defeat in Bihar. NDA will meet the same fate in the 2020 state assembly election, he added.
“Mr Paswan has taken no risk and reserved his seat in Rajya Sabha by taking no chance”, he remarked.
