New superfast Rajdhani Express soon between Mumbai and Delhi via Nasik, Bhopal

New Delhi, Jan 3 In a New Year bonanza to Mumbaikars, the Railway Ministry has decided to run an additional superfast Rajdhani Express train soon on the central railways route from Mumbai to Hazrat Nizamuddin.


In an informal interaction with media here, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said Central Railway Rajdhani route will cover Mumbai, Kalyan, Nasik, Jalgaon, Khandwa, Bhopal, Jhansi, Agra and Hazrat Nizamuddin.


This superfast train will be in addition to the Western Railway Rajdhani which runs on New Delhi, Mathura Bharatpur, Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara, Surat, Wapi and Mumbai Central route.


The new train will fulfill a long standing demand of passengers on central railway route covering Nasik and parts of Madhya Pradesh.
