Nagpur, Jan 3 (UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat has asserted that only a Ram temple will be constructed in Ayodhya.
His comments comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that any decision on an ordinance on the Ram temple could only be taken after the completion of the judicial process, but stressed that his government was ready to make all efforts to fulfill its responsibility.
Talking to media on Wednesday after attending a programme here, Mr Bhagwat said that only Ram temple will come up in Ayodhya.
”We have faith in Lord Ram and it does not take time for time to change,” he said.
He said the saffron outfit (RSS) stood by the statement given by its general secretary, Bhaiyyaji Joshi, on the temple issue.
Bhaiyaji Joshi had, on Tuesday, said the common masses and also those in power wanted only Ram temple to be constructed at the disputed site in the holy city of Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier, speaking at a function organised by the Sevasadan Shikshan Sanstha on its premises at Sitabuldi, Mr Bhagwat stressed on education that develops knowledge-based society.
There is no dispute that the education policy should change and the change should be from the basics, he said.
It has been said that a new education policy has been introduced, but there is no time for its implementation. Its implementation would depend on what happens next, he added.
