Mumbai, Jan 3 The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday lost further by 127.20 points at 35,764.32 as selling pressure was seen in Materials, Energy, Finance, Utilities and Auto stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too declined by 56.70 points to 10,735.80.
The Sensex registered intra day high and low at 35,999.66 and 35,750.51 respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,814.05 and 10,734.25 points respectively.
The sectoral indices like Materials, Energy, Finance, Utiltiies and Auto stocks kept the market under pressure for another day.
The losers were ONGC by 2.95 pc to Rs 143.25, Tata Steel by 1.60 pc to Rs 485.95, HDFC by 1.30 pc to Rs 1953 and Coal India by 1.20 pc to Rs 234.05.
The gainers were Hind Unilever by 0.67 pc to Rs 1796, ICICI Bank by 0.67 pc to Rs 366.80, Maruti Suzuki by 0.62 pc to Rs 7317.20 and HCL Technology by 0.60 pc to Rs 95
