Sambhaji party to contest LS & Assembly polls solo in Mah

Aurangabad, Jan 9: The Sambhaji brigade outfit of Maratha community announced that it will contest 30 Lok Sabha and 80 assembly seats across Maharashtra state, separately.

Talking to the media, District President of Sambhaji Brigade Ramesh Gaikwad said, “We will also contest from Aurangabad and Jalna Lok Sabha seats and currently we are looking for suitable candidate.” 

Since last 26 years, brigade is fighting for social and cultural causes and attaining success in it, said Mr Gaikwad. 

We have taken this decision to enter the election arena to fight political terrorism and family rule across the State.Also, to establish equality and brotherhood and justice for farmers and to get support prices for their produce, he said .
Recently ‘Swaraj Sankalp Abhiyan’ was organised across the state which was started from March 18 last year and concluded here on December 9 last year in Aurangabad .

The Abhiyan was started with a view to change present political scenario and establish Mahatma Phule,Shivaji Maharaj,Sahu Maharaj and Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar’ dreams of democracy ,he added.
